Love conquers all This life has finally begun These tears are fading in the sun Leaving a wiser clown Dancing free and easy on the wire. Somehow I’ve opened up the door And now I know that love is more Than taking the easy way Trying to possess all you desire. We went to sleep in ‘63 And dreamed a dream to make it seem so cool (so cool) Now I awake and find that all these years I’ve been so cruel Such a fool oh oh oh... If you could see through my eyes You’d understand the real prize Welcome to the ball Love conquers all. In time the fallen angel sings In times we’ll mend our broken wings Letting it all go by Rising like a phoenix from the fire And romance lifts its glossy head And tells you that these lumps of lead are really jewels But then you find the truth instead That love obeys no rules And that’s cool oh.. oh...oh... If you could see through my eyes You’d understand the real prize Welcome to the fall Love conquers all. All the petty wars that make the world go round Every lie and every thought and every sound All the countries, all the kings Money, god and puppet strings Love... will... conquer... everything... Welcome to the ball Love conquers all.

about

'Big Light' is a collection of what I consider Paul's most commercial pop and anthemic songs that have the best production. Twelve tracks that I hope Paul would like to have released and that best show his talent as a musician, songwriter and a producer. I compiled it over the last few days to mark his transition ten years ago.

The lyrics in these songs are only more poignant now, taking on a whole new dimension. Demons and angels battling light and dark for life and death. But in the essence of his much loved ‘A Course in Miracles’ - Love always wins! www.acim.org

This ‘Big Light’ compilation is an album concept I put to Paul in the mid 90’s. It was sourced from different recording sessions, via mp3 and cassette tape, recorded at different times, so quality varies. Generally speaking, in my opinion, these are the best produced and most commercial tracks that I have in my possession to promote and share.

Releasing his work for free now has the tacit approval of his estate and hopefully later his master recordings will be released. At this stage there are no musician or production credits but please do continue to post your involvement in his work on Facebook. www.facebook.com/CrowleysTiger

If you want to support Paul’s work you can Share Big Light on Facebook and consider promoting this ‘demo’ album to any publishers or music production companies or musicians or movie makers who you feel may be interested in licensing them. The tracks have been arranged with the more radio-friendly tracks first so as to hold the attention of music publishers. This music player is on his homepage at www.paulsmyth.com so it’s easy to refer people.

Any donations you make by downloading this free album will go towards the costs of maintaining his site and presenting his work. If you are donating a large amount please go to his website www.paulsmyth.com and use the Donate button in the top left of the Home page because Bandcamp take 15%.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. More soon.

Jay
